Eco-Friendly Pressure Washing FAQ

Eco-friendly is real, not just a word we print. Our Renew Wash uses oxygen-based, chlorine-bleach-free chemistry, and one of the products we carry holds EPA Safer Choice certification, a federal program that vets every ingredient against strict human and environmental health standards. We're also upfront that it's not the only option. For tougher buildup, we offer Restore Wash, a stronger clean that isn't eco-friendly on its own, we won't pretend it is, handled with real discipline instead: full landscaping protection, correct dilution, and drain covers so nothing reaches the storm system untreated. We'll walk you through exactly what's in the tank if you ask, and we'd rather explain the real difference than let a label do the talking.

Yes, we call it Restore Wash. It's a real, named option on our menu, not a last resort we hide.We offer two ways to wash your siding and roof: Renew Wash, our eco-friendly option, and Restore Wash, a stronger, faster clean. Neither is our default. We'll walk you through both before any work starts, and you decide which one fits your home and what matters most to you. We're upfront that Restore Wash isn't gentle chemistry. What makes it responsible isn't the chemical, it's how we handle it: full landscaping protection, correct dilution for the surface, drain covers so nothing reaches the storm system untreated, and a trained, insured operator managing the whole job. Whichever you choose, we treat the job with the same seriousness.

Nothing about its cleaning power. Sodium hypochlorite works fast, and we don't pretend otherwise, it's the active ingredient behind our Restore Wash. The issue is what it doesn't distinguish between. It's an aggressive oxidizer that treats your plants, your lawn, and the local waterways it runs into the same way it treats the algae on your siding, if it's handled carelessly. That's why we don't hand it a light touch. Every Restore Wash includes full landscaping protection, correct dilution for the surface, and drain covers so nothing reaches the storm system untreated. The collateral damage isn't in the chemistry itself, it's what happens when someone skips the discipline around it. We won't skip it.If you'd rather avoid bleach chemistry entirely, our Renew Wash does the same fundamental job through oxygen-based chemistry instead, your choice either way.

It's a real technique, and it helps, pre-soaking plants and soil genuinely reduces visible damage. But on its own, it manages where the bleach goes, not what the bleach is. The chemical is still a strong oxidizer wherever it lands, and rinse water still heads for the nearest storm drain. That's why pre-rinsing is one part of our Restore Wash protocol, not the whole answer. We pair it with correct dilution for the surface, drain covers so nothing reaches the storm system untreated, and a trained, insured operator managing the process start to finish. Pre-rinsing alone is mitigation. The full protocol is what actually protects your property and everything downstream of it.
